About Rainey Qualley – Short Bio
Born in the United States in 1990
Co-singer: Jami Lynn
Passion and determination may be the most defining qualities of rising star Rainey Qualley. Moving to Nashville to pursue songwriting, Rainey became the flagship artist to new label Cingle Records. SiriusXM’s “The Highway” added her song “Turn Me On Like The Radio” as their “Highway Find,” which rose to #17 on their countdown. Her self-written debut EP TURN DOWN THE LIGHTS was released on June 2, 2015 and her first single, “Me And Johnny Cash,” is currently climbing the radio charts. Rainey made her debut on the hallowed stage of the Grand Ole Opry® on August 28th, which was documented on film by AT&T’s “Country Deep” Channel in a feature called “My Opry Debut.” Qualley has since been invited back for numerous other performances, including the kick-off celebration of the Opry’s 90th Birthday Bash. A devoted fan of country music, Qualley has opened shows for Willie Nelson, Loretta Lynn, and Hank Williams Jr., as well as others. She is currently recording her debut album with acclaimed producers Russ Zavitson and John Ramey.
